25 little pleasures that make you feel happy
I like to use a small trick to make my days much more pleasant and happy. I try to find little, simple pleasures in my everyday life and sprinkle them throughout my day. You see, every day of ours is filled with some good stuff and some ‘not so good stuff’. If we focus to look at the brighter side of things, it helps us be more happy. Not just that, If we try to find out little pleasures during the day, It makes us feel calm and more peaceful.
These are tiny things, but if you use them, each small pleasure can convert to a great day and make you feel on top of the world!!
In the morning, I might have a cup of coffee, and sip it slowly to enjoy it completely. I might look at the divine sunrise scenery in the sky. I might walk barefoot on grass in the morning, and marvel at God’s creation.
Yeah, you get the idea — these are small things, and don’t really cost you much, but they are terrifically heartwarming. I’ve just described some of the things I might do to start off my day, but there are a number of things more that can be done.
I have compiled a list of what little things you can do that can bring s smile on your face. You can also come up with a list about what simple pleasures you like to indulge in that make you happy.
- Walking barefoot on grass and feeling the dew on your feet.
- Watching a child smile

- Watching a bird feeding her kids in a nest
- Standing near a waterfall and feeling the sprinkled drops on your face
- Lying down in a small stream of water flowing from a river
- Looking at the beautiful sky when it rains
- Drinking Iced Tea
- Walking on the beach
- Eating an Ice Cream or a Chocolate
- Singing in the shower, at the top of your voice
- Dancing on your favorite song
- Watching a movie with your lover
- Watching a flock of birds flying together in the sky
- Watching a flower blossom

- Dancing with your lover
- Feeling happy when seeing a Sale board in a shopping mall
- Eating your favorite dish
- Waking up in the morning and realizing that have 10 more minutes to sleep because you woke up early
- Getting a hug from someone you love
- Cooking something for your spouse
- Listening to your favorite song in the car
- Bringing a smile on someone’s face
- Helping a needy person
- Having a long conversation with a close friend
